I must give respect to Tyndis…without his inspirational video on youtube i don’t think this would have been possible.  The Final Cut scene is like 15-17 minutes by itself.  I think i could shave off some time but overall i think thats about the best time i could get.  I started my fight agains liquid with 3 hours and 12 minutes on the clock.

As of today i am half way through Act 3. Easily the hardest in the game. Damn motorcycle chase is crucial. My goal is to have this done before monday. Then on to Resistance 2 or Call of Duty: World at War.

Haven’t had a chance to blog much lately.

3. On act 3 of a Boss extreme run in Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patroits. If you can get past the motorcycle part you can accomplish anything in life.

4. Been watchin a lot of the Noggin channel with my son…Yo Gabba Gabba is the shhhhht.

5. I am a contributor to Postpublic for the iphone. Streaming movie/tv to iphone.

6. Visualhub for Mac is brilliant.

7. Gmail themes are cool.

8. Orblive looks promising…

9. My company now supports…Exchange for iphone…its a gift and a curse

10. I want a HD camcorder.

11.  Also been playing a basketball league.

So you work hard all year to take a end of summer vacation and bam Tropical Storms and Hurricanes.  Oh well at least i am not in the office today.

Today i will highlight the horrors of pwning my iphone then restoring a backup that went AWOL on me.  Life really sucks when you have to backup your backup.  Since i am still reinstalling all my custom shhht.  I will have to come back and blog more later on.

Ok some background info.  I am a gadget kinda guy.  My latest Man Toy is my Iphone 3G.  I used the pwnage tool (Mac) to upgrade to 2.0.2.  Everything was going smoothly until it was time for me to restore all my settings from my previous backup…(Yes the backup i was relying on had dissappeared).

So i ended up with a fresh iphone with jack shttt installed.  But it was pwned to 2.0.2 so all was not lost.  Itunes still had all my cracked .ipa files.  But remember to recrack the mobileinstallion file!!!!!!!!!!

So while not the end of the world.  I lost all my custom settings:

custom system sounds (voicemail alert +sms alert)

All themes (springboard, lockscreen, etc,etc)

All apps downloaded via Cydia

I could go on and one. The bottom line is if you have a device where you input a lot of custom shhhht.  Back that b*tch up and then backup your backup.  Because just like on the field of competition where you’re only as good as your last game.  In this gadget world, you are only as good as your last backup.
